​Before being paired with a Mentee, SUCCESS Peer Mentors complete a two-part, online training. The training takes 2-2.5 hours to complete and includes written and video scenarios and tutorials as well as questions that encourage reflection and thinking about how to apply the training during mentoring activities. Topics covered in the training include: the role of the Mentor, the role of the Mentee, privacy, communication tips, how to identify and respond to red flags, how to use the SUCCESS app, and how to use SUCCESS program educational handouts.
