Mentees are encouraged to attend at least one monthly group meeting, and Mentors are encouraged to attend group meetings that their Mentees attend. Group meetings are held twice a month in the evening on a weekday either at the Complex Concussion Clinic or virtually via Zoom. Virtual meetings were added to meet social distancing guidelines and limit in-person meetings during the pandemic. The focus of group meetings is to socialize and receive support by meeting other students currently experiencing symptoms of concussion as well as hearing about success stories.
